GetYourGuide alternatives: Viator, Klook, Tiqets, Airbnb Experiences and Expedia

Last reviewed October 13, 2026

Quick answerViator is the like-for-like swap for GetYourGuide: the same 24-hour refund default on most listings, plus Reserve Now and Pay Later where a listing offers it. Pick Tiqets for museum tickets.

GetYourGuide alternatives: the short answer

The closest alternative to GetYourGuide is Viator, a marketplace where independent operators run the tours and your contract is with the operator, as GetYourGuide's terms also describe. GetYourGuide's terms refund a booking canceled more than 24 hours before the start; Viator refunds one canceled at least 24 hours before the start on most experiences.

On October 13, 2026, the Tower of London and Crown Jewels ticket, supplied by Historic Royal Palaces on both sites, was from $51.14 per person on Viator and from $50 per person on GetYourGuide. Tiqets showed the same operator's ticket from $50.24. No checkout total was read on any site, so none of the three is called cheaper.

Viator: the same kind of marketplace

Viator's Reserve Now and Pay Later lets you book most listings without paying up front: a card is required, the payment date is on your booking, and the option is not offered within 3 days of travel or more than 12 months out.

GetYourGuide has a similar "Reserve now & pay later" option on selected activities, and its terms say it debits the price 72 hours before the start. On the Tower of London ticket, GetYourGuide's page shows the option and Viator's listing shows no pay-later line.

Viator's help center words its Lowest Price Guarantee around three matching conditions: the same tour or activity, offered by the same provider, priced in the same currency. GetYourGuide's Best Price Matching, its promise to pay the price difference when the same activity is cheaper elsewhere, excludes loyalty-program, corporate and group rates. Viator's cancellation line sits on each listing, and some listings are non-refundable.

Klook and Tiqets

Klook's help center gives each activity one of three cancellation types: free inside a stated period, conditional, which can carry a handling fee, or none. Its loyalty credit, KlookCash, needs at least 10 KlookCash in your account to use and expires 365 days after it is earned. Klook's home and search pages answered with a bot check when read on October 13, 2026, so no Klook price is stated.

Tiqets sells tickets per venue, with some tours, and its terms say prices are per ticket, taxes included. Those terms allow cancellation only where the product description says so, while its home page advertises flexible cancellation on all venues. The Tower of London ticket itself shows a full refund until 24 hours before the visit date.

Airbnb Experiences, Expedia and booking direct

Airbnb Experiences are host-run listings. Airbnb's help center says most carry a 1-day cancellation policy and select ones 3 days, and that your payment method is charged as soon as the reservation is confirmed.

Expedia's Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Tour was $69 per adult, taxes and fees included, and its results page says you can earn OneKeyCash on each activity by signing in. Its Terms of Service say things to do are not usually refundable unless the provider cancels, though its Statue of Liberty listing showed free cancellation.

Booking direct for the Statue of Liberty means the ferry ticket from Statue City Cruises, the only NPS-authorized ferry: $26.00 for an adult 13 or older on the National Park Service fees page, last updated March 2, 2026. That is the ferry alone, so it is a different product from the guided tours above.

Which GetYourGuide alternative fits which traveler

  • Viator for the same kind of marketplace, with Reserve Now and Pay Later on most listings. Its limit: a from-price is set before any date, option or party size is chosen, so the day's price can differ. Viator vs GetYourGuide sets the two side by side.
  • Tiqets for attraction tickets priced per ticket with taxes included.
  • Airbnb Experiences for a host-led experience from a traveler who already books stays on Airbnb.
  • Expedia for a traveler who already books flights or hotels there and wants OneKeyCash on activities.
  • Booking direct when the attraction sells the ticket itself.
